'Tis the season of spending time with family and friends, shopping,
holiday parties, cookies, and cocktails. A time when workouts often
get lost in the hustle and bustle of all that you do.
Although it is really easy to get caught up in the holiday spirit,
in order to survive the holidays without tipping the scale, it is
important to remember to stick to your normal routine as much as
possible. Make sure you are on your to do list. If you can't fit
in a full workout all at one time, you can break it into 10-minute
increments and still get similar benefits.
The key is to stay as active as possible. Do the best you can.
Remember that throughout the holiday season you have choices. If
you aim to make the best choices as often as possible, you will
survive without tipping the scale.
Have a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy yourself and all that you
do.

were instructed to wolf down their meals ate more food (by nearly
70 calories) but felt less satisfied than those who were told to
take their time, according to a recent study published in the Journal
of the American Dietetic Association. Pace yourself. Take smaller
bites, chew thoroughly, and put your fork down between each one.
