Do you think you will live to 100 years old with vitality? There
is no reason not to.
70% of how you age is based on your lifestyle, not your genes.
Some major lifestyle choices that affect the way you age are a diet
high in fat and sugar, lack of exercise, lack of sleep, and too
much sun.
I recently overheard someone complaining about their fitness level
by saying, "I need to remember that I am fat and 40". This may sound
like a death sentence to some. But it is important to remember that
it is never too late to make a change. You don't have to be overweight
and unfit at any age. You can make small changes every day that
can help you live better and feel better while doing so.
On the other hand, a client recently told me her goal was to be
her fittest at 50. That is the type of goal I like to hear. It is
about living your best life now and for the long haul. It isn't
about being a certain number on a scale.
You can control what you eat, drink, how much you move, and what
you think. Try thinking about what you need to change to feel and
be your best.
