Healthy Balance Fitness' coaching is based on the proven model of Fitness by Phone®, which leverages a concept called compliance programming confirmed by over 20 years of research at Stanford Research Center. It is ideal for the busy person who is trying to balance work, family and personal care. Fitness Coaching allows people maximum flexibility and provides a system for keeping self-care on their maxed-out to-do list.
   

With fitness coaching, you begin by setting reasonable short- and long-term goals. You monitor your progress using objective feedback monitoring and self documentation systems. Then your coach works with you during weekly phone sessions and unlimited guidance via e-mail to achieve your goals. Fitness coaching has been shown to actually deliver better results than personal training and comes at a fraction of the price.

 
Healthy Balance Fitness coaching costs
$399 per month, with a two-month commitment to begin.

This includes a weekly 30-minute call,
24-7 e-mail access, and a pedometer and
heart rate monitor to measure your activity
($100 value).

   

In the first two months we will explore your baseline fitness level, health goals, and get you going on a sound exercise program and eating plan. The activity monitors you'll use become your personal trainer, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. During your weekly coaching sessions, your coach will review what you've done that week and set up new, specific goals for you to achieve in the upcoming week.

 


Clients may also take advantage of in-person training sessions to review form

or technique for $85 - $125 per hour, depending on location.
